Norfolk International airport (ORF) is 20 minutes from Downtown Portsmouth.  Williamsburg-Newport News Airport (PHF) is under 40 minutes. Richmond International airport (RIC) is about 90 minutes away.  In a little over 3 hours, you can drive to/from Reagan National (DCA), Raleigh-Durham (RDU) and Dulles (IAD) airports.
